Bar Route

The description and time of each bar on our route is listed below. Feel free to join us at any point of the crawl but please RSVP if you plan to join us for dinner at 6:00 PM.

2:00 PM - Hennessey's (8 Pier Ave., 372-5759)
This Irish bar is a long-standing beach tradition. Quieter than its neighbors and never with a line, it's a sit-down alternative to the rest of the Pier.

3:00 PM - The Poop Deck (1272 The Strand; 310-376-3223)
The Southbay's famous Beer Only Bar has recently been featured in Sony Picture's release, Southland Tales.

4:00 PM - Patrick Molloy's ( 50 Pier Ave., 798-9762 )
Patrick Molloy's is a clean Irish pub that turns clubby on weekends with house music, lights and dancing. Daytime weekends are at a much more relaxed pace, especially on the patio when crowds gather for post-beach beers, cocktails, enticing appetizers and full lunches or dinners. A daily Happy Hour runs 3-7 with 2-for-1 and food specials....but keep your head level, we're only on bar #3!

*** Please Note: The Hermosa's Sharkeez will not be re-openning until July 11th***

5:00 PM - Fat Face Fenner's Fishshack (30 Pier Avenue; 310-376-9833)
Its second-floor balcony provides the only elevated view of Pier Ave and a rustic back bar has live music on weekends. It's big enough to find a bit of elbow room and the front bar has become so popular with some locals it feels like Cheers.

6:00 PM - Sangria ( 60 Pier Ave., 376-4412)make sure to RSVP for this portif ** DINNER: Please make sure to RSVP for this portion of the event **
It is the biggest of the seaside clubs with a large outdoor patio area and an indoor bar and dance floor. It makes an intoxicating sangria – ask for the "special" which is topped with spiced rum.
